Disney+ has picked up Industrial Brothers & Boat Rocker Studio’s 3D-animated preschool series Dino Ranch for an April launch in the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.
Created by Industrial Brothers’ Matt Fernandes, this 52 x 11-minuter that blends the wild west with dinosaurs is produced by Industrial Brothers and Boat Rocker Studios, with Boat Rocker handling distribution and consumer products.
Dino Ranch premiered on Disney Junior and DisneyNOW (US) and the CBC (Canada) in January, and according to Boat Rocker, it’s currently the number-one US cable series for boys and girls ages two to five.
Broadcasters in other territories have also acquired the toon, including Super RTL (Germany), Gulli/TiJi (France), Gulli Africa, NRK (Norway), YLE (Finland) and DR (Denmark).
Disney+ picked up Dino Ranch for territories without a branded linear channel. Disney pulled out of Australia and New Zealand in 2020, and also folded its linear channels in the UK and Ireland later in the year.
