Toronto – Boat Rocker Studios today announced that ‘Dino Ranch,’ its new animated preschool series, has been picked up by Disney Junior US.
The 52×11′ CG animated preschool series was created by Matt Fernandes of Industrial Brothers and will be produced by Industrial Brothers and Boat Rocker Studios. ‘Dino Ranch’ is currently in pre-production and set to premiere on Disney Junior US in 2021, followed by an international roll-out.
‘Dino Ranch’ follows the action-packed adventures of the Cassidy family as they tackle life in a fantastical, “pre-westoric” setting where dinosaurs still roam. As the young ranchers learn the ropes, they discover the thrill of ranch life whilst navigating the great outdoors through unpredictable challenges.
This thrill-a-minute series, packed with comedy and adventure, introduces kids to problem-solving, the foundations of forging life-long friendships, strengthening family and community bonds, and taking care of animals.
Jon Rutherford, Managing Director and President Rights, Boat Rocker Studios, said: “We are delighted to be working with Disney on ‘Dino Ranch’ as they are the perfect platform to help us launch this entertaining new show in the U.S. Matt’s unique vision of combining cowboys/cowgirls and dinosaurs has huge global appeal, and we look forward to building ‘Dino Ranch’ into a global franchise!”
Boat Rocker Studios will manage the global distribution, brand and licensing of ‘Dino Ranch’ and is already in advanced discussions with a number of leading partners, with a global toy deal set to be announced shortly.
